DELAY
2Kings 6:5 “But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.”

I have lost and misplaced things before and I am sure you have too. However, one thing that is very pertinent in cases of misplacement or when something gets missing is delay.

A delay is the act of postponing, hindering, or causing something to occur late or more slowly than normal. It is a force the enemy releases against a man in order to cause things to happen later than expected.

If you misplace the key to your house for instance, the time it will take you to gain entrance will defiantly be delayed or postponed. A misplacement have a bad way of wasting our time, effort and energy, which is the plan of the enemy.

We don’t know how long it took them to recover the lost axe, but even if it is five minutes, that time was lost already. The devil knows that if he can slow a man down, he can discourage him and prevent him from eventually achieving his dreams. Hear this:

Proverb 13:12 “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”

When the force of delay is released against a man and what he’s believing God for keeps getting postponed, the man can fall sick emotionally and physically.

You can be sure that if the axe head was not recovered that son of prophet might develop a high blood pressure.

Friend, I have news for you, whatever you have lost will be recovered in good time for you to continue your journey in life and destiny. The same God that caused the axe head to swim will give you a divine recovery.

Revelations 10:6 “And swore in the name of (by) Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens (sky) and all they contain, and the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains. [He swore] that no more time should intervene and there should be no more waiting or delay,” (AMP)

I pray for you; Time will no longer work against you. There will be no more waiting or delay in your life and destiny in Jesus name!
