DIG ANOTHER WELL-2
Genesis 26:18 “And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.”

…From yesterday…

Isaac must have felt very bad with the way he was treated but he didn’t stop. Each time they covered his well, he moved on and dug another one.

The gist is this, anytime they cover your well, dig another one. They may succeed in covering up your well but they cannot stop you from digging another. The only person that can stop you is you, so don’t stop yourself.

Friend, digging of your well could connote several things. It could mean for you to start a new business, rewrite that exam, go back to school, fasting again, pursuing your career again, or even praying again on the same matter.

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus kept praying on the same matter till he got his breakthrough:

Matthew 26:44 “And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, SAYING THE SAME WORDS.”

Jesus kept digging. Daniel also kept digging for twenty one days non-stop till his answers came. You can actually weary out the opposition if and only if you keep digging. Life belong to men who have mastered the act of never giving up.

Isaac never complained; he kept digging wells until they got tired of covering them up and surrendered to his supremacy over them. Isaac wearied out his opposition.

Hear Paul:

Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

Romans 8:37 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Friend, so what will it be? Will you dig another well or allow the enemy stop you? The ball is in your court, my advice; don’t give up, dig another well.
