THE SAME MESSENGER-1
2Kings 20:4 “And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,” 
 
2Kings 20:5 “Turn again, and tell Hezekiah, the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David, thy father; I have heard thy prayer; I have seen thy tears; behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.”
 
I love God and the way He does His things. His ways are truly past finding out. No man can cage or limit Him. God is just awesome.
 
In our focal scripture, I saw something very interesting. Immediately after King Hezekiah prayed, God spoke back to Isaiah and sent him with a different message.
 
Isaiah brought a message of death, but then he came back a few minutes later with a message of hope, life, healing, and health. The same messenger, not another one. The man who spoke death went back and spoke life.
 
Hear me: at the place where you fail, you will succeed! What has worked against you can work for you. Your failure can turn into success. The same thing they have used against you can lead to your promotion and elevation. 
 
Never say never with a man who walks with God. Don’t lose hope or give up. The same doctors that gave you that message of discouragement will check their equipment again and congratulate you. The same machine that says your blood pressure is very high will say it is now normal. 
 
Hear these:
 
Mark 10:47 “When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus! Son of David! Have mercy on me!”” 
 
Mark 10:48 “Many of the people scolded him and told him to be quiet. But he shouted even more loudly, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”” 
 
Mark 10:49 “Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man. “Cheer up!” they said. “Get up; he is calling you.”” (GNT)
 
Blind Bartimaeus was calling to the Master for help, but the people hushed him. They told him to keep quiet and not disturb Jesus. 
 
I guess this was the case of King Hezekiah too.
