BECOME A MAN-8
1Samuel 17:8 “And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.”

…From yesterday…

God said in Ezekiel 22:30 that he seeks for a man who can bring His counsel and divinity to His people. Friend, real men are men of the secret place. They have an active relationship and intimacy with God. They know the mind of God and can bring it to the people as at when due.

If your relationship with God is not intimate, sound and solid, I’m afraid you cannot call yourself a man. There is a scripture I love so much:

Acts 27:23 “For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve”

Acts 27:24 “Saying Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.”

Acts 27:25 “Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”

In the midst of chaos, when all hope seems lost and “men” were pretty much shaken up and scared to death when a devastating storm threathens to drown them, a real man stood up from his encounter in the secret place and literally saved them all from death.

Remember Deborah, Miriam, Abigail and even Rahab all did it despite being women. Enough of thinking you’re macho when you don’t know God. If you can stand up and bring the divine to the people when challenges rise up then you’re a man.

May you become a man of the secret place who can stand in the gap for God’s people. Hear this:

Proverbs 31:8 “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.”
