​People that hinder us: The Prince of Persia-1

Galatians 5: 7 “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?”

Today we are looking at the people I call the “prince of Persia”. The strategy of these folks is a very terrible one. They go directly to the source of our breakthrough and success and practically collect what belongs to us. 

These folks are very aggressive, ruthless and deadly. They don’t just operate in the physical, they go spiritual as well. We can see a typical example in the book of Daniel.

Daniel 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

These folks are only interested in what belongs to us. It doesn’t matter if it is useful to them or not as long as you don’t have it they are okay. 

These are the people that hides your employment letter; keeps your promotion letter under the carpet and refuse to give you the news that can move you to your next level. They deliberately keep away from you anything that will benefit you. 

We meet them on daily basis and they have stopped so many from attaining success in life and destiny. Their principle is that: if it will benefit another don’t let him have it.

I was told of a brother whose friend whom he has not seen in years came to look for. Unfortunately he was not at home. His friend met his neighbour and told him he came to check for his long lost friend if by chance he still lives there. 

He said they’ve been friends for years and God has helped him and he felt he should come and help his friend as well. He wanted dropping some items for him and also link him up to a job opportunity. The neighbour told the man that his friend had since  moved away from the area.
