YOKE OF SLAVERY-2
2Kings 4:1 “Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.”
 
…From yesterday…
 
The plot of darkness to limit you is shattered now. You will not move from relevance to irrelevance. Your destiny will not be exchanged for peanuts. You will not serve your enemies. You will not serve Pharaoh nor go down to Egypt in Jesus’ name.
 
The plan of the enemy is always to reduce our standard of living. He wants a situation where he will always determine what we do or don’t do. He wants to be in charge and in control of our destiny. He wants to determine where we go, what we do, eat, and even say; such is the strategy of the devil.
 
They came to make these boys slaves, but glory be to God, their mother stood her ground, got the needed help, and stopped the onslaught. I ask that the Lord, our Father, and Defender will raise help for you as well. God will make sure every such plan of the enemy against us is foiled speedily.
 
Friend, don’t ever fall for the trick of the enemy because it always comes in different forms. Watch the people that tell you in the office to join their group before you can be promoted. Be wary of the people who promised to help you if you will only compromise your faith. 
 
Be careful when they offer you a bribe in order for you to keep quiet. Their strategy is to enslave you and shut you up. Don’t fall for the tricks of hell; the enemy is on rampage in our world now; don’t become his victim.
 
As a believer, this is our heritage:
 
Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (NIV)
 
Christ has made us free by paying a ransom for us with his precious blood, but we have a responsibility to stand firm and refuse to be burdened again by the yoke of slavery.
