DON’T GO BACK-4
Mark 8:25 “After that, he put his hands again upon his eyes and made him look up; and he was restored and saw every man clearly.”
 
Mark 8:26 “And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.”
 
…From yesterday…
 
In other words, return to your own house! It means probably in that town there were people cooking for him, helping him in one way or another because of his blindness. 
 
He was enjoying some benefits in that village, which was why he remained there, but then the benefit is nothing compared to the harm they are causing him.
 
Hear me, before you gave your life to Christ, there might be some things you were enjoying in the world, but I can assure you, what the enemy will collect and is collecting from you is much more than that. 
 
Listen to this counsel from our Master:
 
Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
 
What the devil is after is the soul of a man. No matter what he gives to you, once he has your soul, he is satisfied. It doesn’t matter the seduction of the old life; don’t give in.
 
We must all refuse to go back into the village because it is taking more from us than it’s giving us. Jesus’ advice is to go back to our own house. Why?
 
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
 
Once you give your life to Christ, he comes into your home to dwell. And when Jesus is in your house, all you are looking for outside will be supplied. He therefore told this man to go back home and never return to the attractions in the village. 
 
John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.”
 
So, beloved, go back home; the Master is already in your house!
