Mark 8:24 “And he looked up and said, I see men as trees, walking.”
Mark 8:25 “After that he put his hands again upon his eyes and made him look up; and he was restored and saw every man clearly.”
…From yesterday…
Friend, let go and let God. No matter how much you flog yourself, it won’t change anything; stand up from the dust of disappointment and go for it again. Success only comes to people who refuse to quit or give up.
It doesn’t matter how much God wants to help you; if you don’t remain in the race, help will not locate you. Even God cannot help a quitter. We have seen men in races come from behind to overtake those ahead of them, but we have never seen someone who was not in a race win. You must stay in the race to stand a chance of winning.
Friend, just because you failed that exam the first time doesn’t mean you should stop there. Jesus is God, but he went for the second touch. This is perhaps the only time he did this kind of miracle, but he never gave up. He didn’t get depressed or discouraged when the miracle didn’t happen the first time; he simply touched the guy again.
Hear this:
Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”
The path of a just man must never be stagnant; it must keep getting better and better.
Hear me, it is okay to start small but never okay to remain small. God is interested in constant and consistent progress. Our God is never stagnant. In creation, He started by creating the heaven and the earth and never stopped until everything needed was created. He didn’t create the water and leave them like that; he kept at it till all living things were created in the water.
He didn’t just create the earth; he kept at it till the trees, the living and creeping things, and man were created. It may not look perfect at once, but there is always room for improvement. Rather than getting apprehensive, wait for the second touch.
To be continued…
