DON’T JUST HAVE EYES, SEE!-3
Mark 8:23 “And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.”

Hear Solomon:
 
Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
 
Vision is the seeing power that transcends the normal eyes. Until you begin to engage the power of vision, you will not go far, and the sad part is that without vision, as Solomon said the people can perish. 
 
To have vision is such a great blessing. It helps to see things and people as they can be not what it or they are at the moment. Vision is truly a gift because it can help us project into the future. I believe we all have the gift; it just takes effort to learn to apply it in our lives. I once read this beautiful piece about Walt Disney.
 
Disney, on his death bed, had not completed building the Epcot Centre. What was to be his crown jewel, and it was not likely he would be alive at its completion. In an interview, he was asked how he felt knowing he would not be around to see the completion of such a marvellous project. 
 
His reply was, “I’ve already seen it.” “I’ve entered it several times and know how each room looks!” He eventually died before the physical completion, but his vision lives on.
 
Hear what Prophet Isaiah said:
 
Isaiah 43:8 “Get the blind and deaf out here and ready– the blind (though there’s nothing wrong with their eyes) and the deaf (though there’s nothing wrong with their ears).” (MSG)
 
The people Isaiah described here have very similar characteristics to the blind man in our focal scripture. This also applies to many of us today. Beloved, many people are blind even though there is nothing wrong with their eyes.
 
God has loaded us with a vast amount of potential, and he expects us to maximise them. You cannot have what you cannot see. Until we actively engage the power of vision, stagnancy will be the other of the day.
