NOTHING OUTSIDE THE WORD-3
2Kings 7:1 “Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.”

…From yesterday…

Psalms 107:20 “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

Some folks were suffering from an ailment and some sort of disease. They expected God to do something magical about it but to their amazement, all God did was to send his word. God’s word didn’t just heal, it also delivered them from their destructions.

The word of God is powerful beyond measure. Look at these truths about the word:

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The word of God is quick and powerful. Many have this erroneous believe that the word is slow, not at all, it is very sharp and quick. It doesn’t matter how long a challenge has been lingering, the day you release the word is the day of solution. It is also so powerful that nothing can subvert it!

Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?”

The word is also like fire to devour and like hammer to break every obstacle on your way.

In our focal scripture, immediately Elisha released it, famine was destroyed and solutions came within twenty four hours. That is how quick, active and powerful it is. Don’t ever forget that.

When the prophetic word was pronounced, it crashed the high rise of food items and the excessive inflation in the land. Note also that prices are a lot lower during a time of the true word. Famine is expensive. There will always be increase and abundance when God speaks.

Once you become an active user of the word, you’ll be amazed at how that daunting challenge will clear off. Don’t keep delaying your answers, release the word!
