WALK ON WATER-3
2Kings 6:6 “And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.”

2Kings 6:6 “”Where did it fall in?” Elisha asked. The prophet pointed to the place, and Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. The ax head floated to the top of the water.” (CEV)

Hear this:

Matthew 14:31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

Matthew 14:32 “And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.”

When Peter sank, Jesus reached out and pulled him to safety but afterwards he gave us the reason why he sank in the first place. He made us realise that the factor that drowned Peter was not even his little faith but doubt.

This terrible phenomenal is what has made walking on water practically impossible in our days. Many of us know God and his capability but always doubt His ability to do it in our own lives. As a pastor, I have heard people say, “Miracles are long gone”, “Bible stories are no longer possible in our days” and so on.

Friend, if you believe such nonsense, you will be short-changing yourself and preventing the supernatural acts of God in your life. The divine is still potent and real. The Bible is still playing out in people’s lives in out days. Many of us have experienced different dimensions of the moves of the Spirit and the earlier you join the train the better.

God has not changed, He is still doing wonders and miracles in our lives but we must learn to trust Him for the impossible. Faith is the critical factor if you must walk on water. All the heroes of Hebrews 11 were men and women of faith and all they did can happen in our lives as well.

Joint me in praying this into your life:

Psalms 69:14 “Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.”

You’re coming out of every situation that is threatening to drown you. You will walk on water in Jesus’ name.
