WALK ON WATER-2
WALK ON WATER-2
2Kings 6:6 “And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.”
2Kings 6:6 “”Where did it fall in?” Elisha asked. The prophet pointed to the place, and Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. The ax head floated to the top of the water.” (CEV)
…From yesterday…
Beloved, you can also do the impossible, that seemingly insurmountable obstacle can crumble before you. As a believer, we are cut from the same fabric. If Peter joined Jesus on that “sea walking adventure”, you and I can as well. We can literally pull stunts that can bewilder the enemy and the world at large.
A believer is expected to walk on water with ease. Impossibility has no place in the life of a child of God. The interesting thing is that it has been done severally by men of like passion in the past. When you travel through the pages of your Bible you will see acts that will keep your jaw wide open. Hear this:
Hebrews 11:33 “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,”
Hebrews 11:34 “Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”
Friend, those were not acts of angels but of men like you and I. You can see a single man that defeated an entire army. Men who used bare hands to tear a lion to pieces. Those are men that walked on water!
I want you to however note that; Peter didn’t just walk on water, he sank at some point but didn’t die. He walked, sank and walked again, hallelujah!
Hear this:
Matthew 14:31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
Matthew 14:32 “And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.”
