STAY AFLOAT-2
2Kings 6:6 “And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.”

2Kings 6:6 “”Where did it fall in?” Elisha asked. The prophet pointed to the place, and Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. The ax head floated to the top of the water.” (CEV)

…From yesterday…

It is often said that, “Ships do not sink because of water around them, ships sink because of water that gets into them”.

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

When you are conformed to this word, they will throw all manner of weight and water into your “ship” and it’s just a matter of time before you sink. Our world have become very corrupt and our minds are the target. They sing songs with vulgar lyrics and throw them to us at will. If you are not careful, it will enter into your subconscious mind unnoticed.

Friend, we must make up our minds never to allow negative situations, thoughts and ideas of the world enter into us. There are several things going on in the world that is contrary to us, the onus is therefore on us to guard our hearts and never allow them get into us.

Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

The word “keep” as used here is a military terminology which means to protect strongly with weapons. Our minds must be kept from every assault of hell, if not we will sink.

The axe head dropped and fell into the river but the supernatural hand of God made it float.

No matter the problems on earth, make sure you remain afloat. Nobody drown until they get submerged and allow water enter into them. The axe head was not recovered by the young prophet until it floated.

We are in the world but not of the world. No matter what is going on, stay afloat.
