SUPERIOR LAW-2
2Kings 6:6 “And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.”

Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

This law is superior to every other law. The Bible calls it the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

If you see an airplane on the ground, certain elemental forces are keeping it there and will make sure it remains there, chief among them are the laws of gravity and of inertia. But, when the airplane is ready to fly, it must overcome these laws with another law called the law of lift or aerodynamics. The law that makes it fly must be superior to the ones keeping it on the ground before it can take off.

Beloved, the law of sin and death is the law that keeps men on the ground, frustrates them, stops them and eventually kills them. The devil is the custodian of the law of sin and death and his assignment is to drag as many people as possible down to hell with him.

The only escape route is through a superior law called the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The devil has nothing good to offer a man and the earlier you settle this in your heart the better.

Let me show you some operations of the law of sin and death:

Colossians 3:8 “But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.”

Titus 3:3 “For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.”

Those are symptoms of the law of sin and death. That is the reason many are down and out.

Beloved, it is time to quit the lower laws and embrace the one that can elevate you. Enough of sinking and drowning, there is a place in Christ that can keep you afloat, leave the low life!
