YOUR BEST OR NOTHING-1

YOUR BEST OR NOTHING-1
Matthew 2:11 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

Don’t just give your best to God, make it your habit to always give your best in whatever you do. Don’t ever be caught doing below your capacity. The world have a place reserved for excellence.

The wise men opened their treasure and gave their best to Jesus; that is what we call excellence. Wherever you go and in whatever you do, give your best or nothing. Don’t ever be a mediocre. The world already have a lot of average or below average performers, let excellence or giving of your best distinguish you!

Anything that is worth doing at all is worth giving your best shot. A life of excellence cannot be overemphasised, it is what makes Great people great. It is what distinguish and separates exceptional people from the crowd.

Excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. It is the quality that makes you surpass ordinary standards. Many people want to stand out from the crowd but very few are ready to pay the price of excellence.

The wise men open their treasures, they dig deep into the best part of their heart and lives to bring out their finest. When was the last time you reach deep down within you to offer your best? When was the last time you gave that job your best effort and energy?

Ecclesiastes 9:10 “Whatever comes to your hand to do with all your power, do it because there is no work, or thought, or knowledge, or wisdom in the place of the dead to which you are going.” (BBE)

The above advice was from King Solomon, the richest man to traverse this planet and probably one of the most excellent men in the Bible. He was not just rich he was an extremely excellent man, hear this:

1Kings 10:4 “When the queen of Sheba experienced for herself Solomon’s wisdom and saw with her own eyes the palace he had built,” (MSG)
