OPEN THE TREASURY-2
Matthew 2:11 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

…From yesterday…

Malachi 1:7 “Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

Malachi 1:8 “And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.”

These group of people here in Malachi were obviously not wise just like many people in our days; they gave to God what does not befit him. They truly gave to him but not from their treasures.

People always take care of themselves first and then look for remnants to give to God. The truth is that, you cannot deceive Him. He knows when you offer “blind, lame and sick” things to him. Remember this:

Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

When you receive things that are “blind, lame and sick” you shouldn’t complain. Whatever you sow returns back to you but note that; harvest is always greater than seed sown!

Learn this and never take it for granted:

1Corinthians 4:7 “For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?”

James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

You have no basis to hide anything from God because there is nothing you have that you have not received from Him. All good things truly come from Him and when you return good things to Him, He releases greater and better things to you.

God’s hand is far bigger than yours, don’t withhold the treasures in your “little hand” from Him!
