WISE DESTINY HELPERS-3
Matthew 2:11 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

…From yesterday…

The butler could have kept silent and not want to recommend a “prisoner” to the king, but he believed in him and ask the king to send for him. Joseph was in a kind of manger but he was brought to the palace on the recommendation of a man.

1Samuel 23:16 “And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.”

1Samuel 23:17 “And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.”

1Samuel 23:18 “And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.”

Jonathan was such a very strange but wise destiny helper. The throne of Israel rightfully belonged to him but he was ready to do whatever it takes to get it for David. Even though he was the heir apparent, he was ready to sacrifice it so that David can be the king.

Even when David was still hiding in a cave, he saw greatness in him and honoured him. These are very strange helpers. Anybody can help you when you’ve helped them or when you’ve risen to stardom but very few people will reckon with you when you don’t have results.

It doesn’t matter how anointed or how heavy your potentials are, you need these wise men to put in a word for you.

John 1:29 “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”

Jesus needed the validation of John the Baptist. John was a renowned prophet in their days but nobody knew Jesus. John had to introduce him to the world before people started listening to him.
