Joshua 2:21 “And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.”

Joshua 2:22 “And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.”

…From yesterday…

Ben Franklin said, “People who are good at making excuses are rarely good at anything else.” It is high time you kill your excuses before it kills or stagnate you! Think of your several excuses for putting off what needed to be done and get at it today.

The second way to destroy the demon of procrastination is by getting started immediately. There is something called analysis paralysis. When you overthink a matter, you will never start. The longer you wait before taking a step the more reasons you generate for not starting. You must simply go ahead and start with immediate alacrity.

Hear what Jesus told Judas:

John 13:27 “…”What you must do,” said Jesus, “do. Do it and get it over with.”” (MSG)

Even though Judas’ intention were wrong, Jesus told him not to procrastinate and get it over with quickly. There are opportunities in life that are time bound, if you miss the timing, you’ve missed the chance.

Psalms 119:60 “I was up at once, didn’t drag my feet, was quick to follow your orders.” (MSG)

Psalms 119:60 “I was quick to do your orders, and let no time be wasted.” (BBE)

David was definitely a man of action, Goliath threatened the armies of Israel for forty days without engaging them in battle. He was all noise but no action. The day David appeared on the battle field, he engaged him and the battle was over in a jiffy. David showed us one of his strategies in Psalms 119:60; he acts at once, without dragging his feet.

Beloved, you must learn to seize the moment and act without delay. Things may not be perfect but then you must start and perfection will definitely meet you on the way!
