Jonah 1:15 “So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.”

Jonah 1:16 “Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.”

Jonah 1:17 “Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”

…From yesterday…

Isaiah 8:10 “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”

Isaiah 8:10 “Plan and plot all you want–nothing will come of it. All your talk is mere talk, empty words, Because when all is said and done, the last word is Immanuel–God-With-Us.” (MSG)

Their thought is to drown you, but they will always come late. God is with us, no negativity against us shall stand!

Our God is One that is never perturbed with happenings and plots of men. He knows the end from the beginning. He is just awesome. What a mighty God we serve, even the fish, sea and every animal obey Him.

God will not leave us to the counsel of our enemies, He always has plan A, B and so on. Trust Him absolutely and you will always be at ease. Our God is the expert planner and nothing can thwart His agenda.

He specialises in preparing great things for His children. Let us consider one or two instances in the Bible. Hear this:

1Kings 17:9 “Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”

1Kings 17:10 “So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.”

Before Elijah landed in Zarephath, a “fish” in the form of a widow woman was waiting for him. Even though the enemy has orchestrated hunger, the prophet was sufficiently fed.
