Jonah 1:7 “And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.”

Jonah 1:8 “Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?”

Jonah 1:9 “And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.”

Psalms 60:4 “Then you planted a flag to rally your people, an unfurled flag to look to for courage.” (MSG)

Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.”

One of our primary responsibilities as believers is to be representatives of Christ on the earth. We are meant to lift up his banner or flag as a symbol to the unbelieving world of his love and salvation. We are to bring the agenda of heaven to bare on the earth.

The kingdom of this world should understand what Christ represent, what the agenda of heaven is and how the Kingdom of Heaven operates. Truly we are in the world but definitely not of the world!

We are representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven and her ambassadors.

1John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect…because as he is, so are we in this world.”

2Corinthians 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

Beloved, it is appalling to see ambassadors and representatives of heaven misrepresenting the same God they claim to serve, love and respect! Don’t operate in falsehood.

If you want to represent God please do it well! Why must your name be mentioned with evil and errors every time and you’re still claiming you know God!
