QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS-3
Luke 2:46 “And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”
Luke 2:47 “And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.”
Hear what Jesus further said in Matthew 7:
Matthew 7:9 “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?”
Matthew 7:10 “Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?”
This takes me to the second point I want you to note: Life will always give you anything it likes when you don’t ask for what you really want. Men can size you up and offer you anything they feel like if you don’t ask questions.
Jesus made us realize in Matthew 7:9 & 10 above that, some people can give you stone even though it is bread you really want. They can also offer you a snake instead of fish when you keep your mouth shut! If you have been getting something contrary to what you want, check what you have been asking. If your questions are wrong and faulty, your answers and results will!
Another reason why we should learn to ask good questions is that, great rewards only come to men and woman who knows how to ask:
A Statesman-philanthropist by nam eBernard Baruch once said, “Millions saw the apple fall, but Isaac Newton was the only one who asked why.”
Isaac Newton took the time to ask questions, and the world benefited from his theory of gravity. If we ask good questions of the right people, we will have a wonderful return for our lives. Questions stimulates reasoning and releases answers.
The interesting thing is that questions will always lead you to answers, sometimes great wealth and answers beyond what you can ever imagine! Till eternity, men will always attribute the law of gravity to Newton. This law has helped men to fly, move and stop vehicles and several other inventions, just because a man decided to ask questions!
