Luke 19:5 “And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.”

…From yesterday…

In Mark 11:25, Jesus was talking about a believer that comes to the place of prayer but took a bad posture. In order words, many people “stand” in prayer but within are hating, which makes everything wrong.

You don’t receive from God while holding unto grudges. It is not Christian-like. There are several little little things that frustrates the fervent prayers of a man and we must be aware of them.

In other words, it is not enough for you to keep appearing in church with a wrong heart. Appearing in church is good positioning but the wrong heart gives you a wrong posture. It doesn’t matter how you try to cover it up, it will eventually show. Let there be an alignment between your coming to church, praying and the state of your heart.

When Zaccheaus met Jesus, he started doing the things Jesus would want him to do. He followed Jesus and stopped cheating people. Following Jesus is not just a matter of mouth, it takes deliberate and conscious efforts. Let me show you another example:

Proverbs 23:1 “When you sit down to eat with someone important, keep in mind who he is.”

Proverbs 23:2 “If you have a big appetite, restrain yourself.”

Proverbs 23:3 “Don’t be greedy for the fine food he serves; he may be trying to trick you.”(GNB)

Solomon was a great king, who had several people come around and he told us what disqualifies people from the favour of kings and mighty men. Listen, it is not enough for you to be correctly positioned before royalty, your posture can cut his favour away from you.

If you appear before a great man for instance and you eat anyhow, he may change his mind about giving you that contract or job because your posture before him is showing that of a man that cannot be trusted with great resources. Even if you’ve not eaten for ages, control your appetite, it reveals so much about you.

Hear me: Your divine allocations are tied to your divine locations. When your positioning is wrong, your allocations will elude you. Like a brother of mine said, “Wrong location equals no access”, don’t ever forget that!
