THE INSINCERITY OF MEN-3
Mark 5:15 “And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.”
Mark 5:16 “And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.”
Mark 5:17 “And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.”
Mark 11:17 “And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.”
Jesus sure gives and makes us live the good life but for the right reasons. There are people who have tried to turn church to “den of thieves”, they just want to do business with the things of God and go away.
The insincerity of men is hugely appalling. The people of Gadara will rather continue their business than for the mad man to be healed. This is typified in Mark 11:15 -17.
Jesus drove the “traders” out of the temple and I want you to know that the temple is no longer a physical structure but the life of a man.
1Corinthians 6:19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
There are demonic traders who are comfortable doing business around your life and as long as the business is thriving, they are fine. In the same vein, several people are also doing this to themselves. Many are comfortable committing “certain sins” as long as it does not stop them from making money.
You see so called believers supporting fraudsters, giving bribes and using unjust scales. They even tell a lie to make “sales” and claim it is a ‘white lie’.
Beloved, don’t let the devil be in-charge and in control of any area of your life just because you’re making a profit.
Men may be insincere but don’t do that to yourself. Don’t send Jesus away from your coast!
