Genesis 28:12 “And he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.”

…From yesterday…

Joseph was sent on an errand to go meet his brothers in Shechem but unfortunately when he got there, they had left. He was lost, confused and wondering.

He could have remained there if not for a ladder!

The ladder was in form of a man who showed up and gave him an accurate information that pointed him in the right direction till he found his brothers.

Friend, in the above narrative, Joseph enjoyed two ladders; the ladder of information and the ladder of man (human ladder).

Information is critical to the birthing of any dream, may you always have the relevant information per time. If the ladder of information is missing in the life of a man he’ll be doing trial and error wasting precious time and resources. That was the case of Joseph until he had that information.

In the same vein, that information came through a man and I call that the human ladder. Rebekah was such to Jacob.

Genesis 27:6 “And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying”

Rebekah was the bridge between Jacob and a blessed future. Jonathan was such to David. All the men of David that eventually became mighty had him for a ladder. The disciples had Jesus for a ladder.

Apollos had Aquila and Priscilla. Timothy had Paul and so on and so forth. A human ladder is a destiny helper and we all need them! Human ladders are the bridge between our big dreams and desired accomplishments.

If you lack a ladder you will be stranded in life and destiny. A ladder shortens the distance between you and your aspirations.

Not only that, a ladder eases your trip. It makes your journey easier and more productive. A ladder also gives you direction. Once the ladder is in place, you know the direction and path to follow without gambling.
