Genesis 28:12 “And he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.”
As a believer, there is an awesome power at our disposal which many don’t utilize. It is the ability to open portals.
A portal is a spiritual gateway that connects the earth to heaven. It offers a direct pathway from earth to heaven. The ability to open this portal however lies with any believer that chooses to use it.
This was what Jesus meant by these statements:
Matthew 16:19 “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 18:18 “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
If you take note of the words of Jesus carefully, he didn’t say; “whatsoever you bind in heaven shall be bound on earth”, he started from the earth to heaven; therein lies the believer’s authority!
Our focal scripture says, “…behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven”. The whole process started on earth and culminates or climaxes in heaven.
Many people expects God to do something about their situation, so they cry and wish he can just come down. That is a very emotional thing to do but unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. Tears and emotions don’t open portals, spiritual understanding and principles do.
Releasing the word of God in prayers is a principle that opens portals and creates linkage between the earth and heaven. We must all master the act of setting up ladders on earth, whose top can reach to heaven.
How do I open portals?
Genesis 5:22 “And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:”
Genesis 5:24 “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”
