Genesis 28:10 “And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.”

Genesis 28:11 “And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night because the sun was set and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep”

Harmony talks about a pleasing combination of things and sound. It also talks about accord, consensus and agreement. There are certain things that must cooperate together to birth the dream of a man.

Jacob was traveling from Beersheba to Haran then he got to a certain place and decided to stay there for the night. He got there when the sun set and he used one of the stones of the place as pillow when he wanted to sleep.

Certain things happened at that place before he had his dream. First, he got there at sunset. Sunset is a dark moment. It is interpreted to be a time when things seems not to be working in the life of a man. It is a moment of uncertainty.

Put differently, Jacob got to a place of confusion and a dark moment in life. He was down and discouraged because everything around him was shrouded in darkness and lack of clarity.

Friend, you may be in a dark place now, perhaps you’re not sure what the New Year holds. You may have just lost your business and in debt. You may even be down in the area of your health and career.

Jacob was at that point too. He was down in spirit. He was been hunted by Esau, he was not sure of what the future holds for him but at that place something happened: He had a dream!

Jacob got a stone from the place, used it as pillow and his dream was birthed.

I have news for you; everything in your current location will harmonize to birth your dreams and vision. The environment of the place including the stone worked in favour of Jacob.

The current darkness, sunset and environment around you will help to birth your dreams in Jesus name.

To be continued…

Love you BiG
