1Samuel 17:17 “And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;”

1Samuel 17:18 “And carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take their pledge.”

While Saul and his soldiers which includes the brothers of David were busy running away from the giant, God was busy arranging and preparing his own man.

In the house of Jesse on that faithful day, the man simply called his son David and asked him to go give food to his brothers and ask after their welfare. What looked like a casual instruction to David was actually the Mighty hand of God moving and arranging things behind the scene.

God knew it was already forty days and the men on the battlefield urgently needed help. So, He orchestrated the movement of David through Jesse. The funny thing was that when David appeared on the battlefield and offered to go fight Goliath, the same people he was sent to help tried to discourage him.

His brother Eliab even fought him, not recognizing him as their sent help.

Friend, hear me, God knows and sees your present predicament. He has initiated a plan for your rescue. He is putting in place a plan to bail you out. He is preparing your destiny helper. Hear this:

Hebrews 10:37 “For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come and will not tarry”

Hebrews 10:37 “It won’t be long now, he’s on the way; he’ll show up most any minute.” (MSG)

I want you to hold on in the place of prayers. When you need the help of men, God will bring them. The Lord knows when you are at your wits end. He knows who you need and when and I can assure you they will show up before the enemy strikes.

I pray for you today: The Lord will order your helpers to you. The solution to your problems and challenges will locate you.

Your David will show up at the nick of time in Jesus name!

Love you BiG
