THE HAND OF GOD-1

THE HAND OF GOD-1
John 6:11 “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down and likewise of the fishes as much as they would”

Our focal scripture begins by telling us that Jesus took the loaves. It means he received, took or collected the small boy’s lunch. In order words the miracle didn’t take place until there was an exchange of hands.

The small boy’s lunch of five barley loaves, and two small fishes remained the same until it got into the hands of Jesus. Once in his hands it metamorphosed into abundance.

The hand of Jesus is the Hand of God and the Hand of the Creator of heaven and earth. When things gets into His hands, little becomes much. Small becomes great. Insufficient becomes more than enough.

The Hand of God is the Hand of grace, power and might. There is no impossibility in His Hands. Before a miracle can take place, there must be an exchange of hands. Your small will remain small until you hand it over to the Master of the universe.

The challenge many have with God is that they want to hold unto things and expect it to multiply in their own hands. Nothing great will ever happen if you don’t hand it over to Him.

How do I hand it over Him?

Psalms 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass”

Proverbs 3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

You place things in His hands by acknowledging Him and committing everything you want to do to Him in prayers. The problem most times is that we want to have our plans, execute it then talk to God about it when challenges show up.

God should always be the first point of call. When you start any venture with Him, He guides you every step of the way. God knows how to take little and transform it. He knows how to convert seed into harvest.

The intelligence of our God is unfathomable.
