John 6: 10 “And Jesus said Make the men sit down Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down in number about five thousand.”

…From yesterday…

The Holy Spirit knows all roads and not only that, He knows the best one that will get you to your desired destination.

Friend, how long will you keep gambling and trying to figure out the road? One thing I’m sure of is the fact that you will not live long enough to try out every available road before choosing the best.

Hear Him:

Psalms 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Isaiah 48:17 “Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”

In both scriptures, you’ll discover that God never said, “the road you must follow”, He simply said the road you “should follow”. The onus is therefore on you to submit your will to His will. A man that sits down enjoys divine leading.

Another thing rest does for the believer is provision. When those men sat down following the instruction of Jesus, they all ate bread and even had leftovers. Supply is another thing you enjoy in the place of rest. If those men decided to go and work to buy bread, they might faint on the way.

God sure knows how to move the heaven and the earth in order to meet our needs. He knows how to get what we want across to us without hustle. He is the Shepherd and He knows where the grass is green (Psalms 23).

Let me also mention that; any man who knows how to rest and sit down around God will enjoy safety and also see his enemies defeat.

Psalms 110:1 “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

Since you’ve been fighting solo, how many battles have you won?

To be continued…
