POWER OF LITTLE-2
John 6:8 “One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,”
John 6:9 “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?”
Every tree comes in form of a seed. A seed in the hand of a great and visionary man is not just a seed, neither is it a tree, it is actually a forest! Greatness is packaged in capsules!
Zechariah 4:10 “Do not despise these small beginnings…” (NLT)
Job 8:7 “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase”
Anybody that despises the power of little things will never see greatness. Jesus also said something interesting about a seed:
Matthew 13:31 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:”
Matthew 13:32 “Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”
In order words, a seed can become a tree; even a house for birds and other animals! There is no limit to what a seed can become. God started the whole human race that is currently almost eight billion people, with just a man and a woman. All He did was to equip them with seeds.
When God kept Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He had you and I in mind. As a matter of fact, the word Adam simply means “mankind”.
Beloved, many of us have behaved and probably still behaving like Andrew. God already gave many people their own “five loaves and two fishes” but they discarded it thinking, “but what are they among so many”. I have seen people waste what could have become their startup capital simply because they feel it’s too small.
I’ve seen people believing God for a Fortune 500 job but angry with the job they currently have at hand. They keep reporting late to work, fight their employer and grumble about everything.
To be continued…
