John 6:8 “One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,”

John 6:9 “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?”

…From yesterday…

So, who is Andrew?

An Andrew is one who even though does not understand the full details of where you want to go in life, is ready to contribute his own quota. Andrew in this story doesn’t know what Jesus can do with a small boy’s lunch, but he was willing to support with any information that might help!

An Andrew is someone who is not afraid to offer support even when everybody says it is impossible. Philip says it is impossible, Andrew brought a small boy’s lunch. To Andrew, the five loaves and three fishes might not mean much but he decided to offer it all the same.

An Andrew is someone who believe in the reality of your dreams even when you don’t. Such a fellow is ready to give you a chance against all odds.

An Andrew is one who gives you a shot at life even when he himself does not believe! Andrew offered Jesus the little boy’s lunch knowing full well that it won’t suffice.

He didn’t hide nor discard the boy’s lunch even when he couldn’t see any need for it. He is one that is ready to supply every information at his disposal, useful or not. Andrew was less concerned about the information but he still released it.

John 1:40 “Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard John’s witness and followed Jesus.”

John 1:41 “The first thing he did after finding where Jesus lived was find his own brother, Simon, telling him, “We’ve found the Messiah” (that is, “Christ”).”

John 1:42 “He immediately led him to Jesus…” (MSG)

Andrew had a reputation of giving people the right information per time. He was the one that even led Peter to Jesus. Such was the impact of this amazing man. We all need him in our lives.

An Andrew is your DESTINY HELPER, may you meet him (them) today in Jesus name!
