John 6:7 “Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.”
There will always be different kinds of voices in your life, but you must know the significance of each. You should be able to read in-between the lines and decode the meaning of every statement made to you.
If Jesus had listened to Philip on that faithful day, we wouldn’t have read about this beautiful miracle in the Bible. We wouldn’t have known that God is indeed a Provider.
I have since discovered that the problems of this world started with wrong voices.
Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
The problem started when the devil said “unto the woman” and the woman said “unto the man”! Satan to Eve and Eve to Adam. Once a wrong voice entered the scene, the whole world entered into error and the challenges are still there for all to see.
One wrong counsel could alter the course of a man’s life negatively and forever. The damage that discouraging words have done in several people’s lives are of enormous proportions.
Men that go far are very selective with the voices they listen to. It is however very easy to know which voice to listen to and the ones to discard.
The simple test is to align what you are told with what HE has SAID! In order words, any voice that speaks contrary to the Bible or the word of God is operating antithesis to your quest. Such voices should not just be discarded, you should banish them from your life forever.
If Adam and Eve had performed this simple test, the enemy wouldn’t have gotten them that cheap.
Jesus moved past the voice of Philip and the other disciples as well and over five thousand people were supernaturally fed!
Beloved, whose voice represents that of “Philip” in your life? What has it stopped you from achieving?
