John 6:6 “And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do”
There is a sevenfold dimension to the operation of the Holy Spirit and we must know it and allow the full expression in our lives. Hear this:
Isaiah 11:2 “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;”
When those seven are operational in our lives, we will always know what to do and also make informed decisions.
The one with the gift of knowing is always a leader anywhere. You cannot function effectively as a leader without this ability because people will always look unto you for answers, guidance and direction. That is why relating with the Holy Ghost is a must.
David fought sixty six battles and lost none because he has this understanding. Hear this:
1 Samuel 30:7 “And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod…”
1 Samuel 30:8 “And David enquired at the LORD, saying Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”
While all his men were crying and confused, David reached out to the Holy Spirit through the ephod as used in their days and he got answers. He simply told his men what to do.
The interesting thing however is that in our days, we have the Person of the Holy Ghost residing permanently on our inside. The embodiment of this gift reside in us, so we should never be confused.
The Bible says, “long before daybreak”, Jesus always go to the place of prayer (Mark 1:35).
I believe strongly that the main reason Jesus always have solutions is that he already received in prayers the “knowing”; before anything comes up.
All through his earthly ministry, he never got stranded even though he came across some very awkward situations. Friend, we can enjoy this too, if and only if we relate with the person of the Holy Spirit!
