HE TURNED BACK
Luke 17:15 “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed turned back and with a loud voice glorified God,”

This one leper that turned back is just so unique. He has a beautiful spirit. He knows how to stay connected to the source!

Immediately he realized he was healed, he didn’t continue on the trip to the priest to observe religious rights, he simply returned to the healer! He must have reasoned that the one who sent him was of more value than the one he was going to meet.

Luke 17:14 “…Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed”

Earlier on, the ten of them were asked to go show themselves to the priests, but he suddenly realized that the one who sent them was not just a priest but the High Priest!

The problem many people have in life is that they have very short memories. They easily forget their source and never return. It must have occurred to this leper that he was already connected to the source of life, power, breakthrough and miracles, why look for alternatives!

Although the Bible didn’t tell us what happened to the other nine but I presume they simply went to the priests, got their healings confirmed and returned to their homes and regular lives. Unfortunately, they got detached from the Source!

Friend, there is more where that one came from. God is inexhaustible, he never finishes, what he did for you is just a tip of the iceberg. Hear what Paul said:

Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us,”

What you are asking God to do is infinitesimal compared to what he can do! Don’t be so engrossed with a microscopic miracle that giant ones evade you.

A popular adage says, “Any river that forgets its source will run dry”. You must endeavor to stay connected to your Source. God is the source of all things and nothing must replace HIM in our lives.

It will take the source of your miracle to retain it, always return!
