Luke 17:11 “And it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.”

Luke 17:12 “And as he entered into a certain village…”

…From yesterday…

The word Samaria from the Hebrew means; “to hedge about (as with thorns)”, “look narrowly” and “guard”.

Those are not palatable or fancy words. That city represents a place of little, a prison or place that is well guarded. It is definitely a place you and I will not want to be. It is a demonic place that is so well guarded that it doesn’t want you to go.

I don’t know the Samaria that life has kept you. It could be a physical prison, a spiritual dry place, a financial mess, a loss of job, a sickness or disease; I want you to know that is not the end of your life.

All it takes is just a visit by Jesus Christ. Know that for your sake he will pay that “Samaria” a visit. We don’t know for how long those guys have been in that condition, but the day Jesus passed through, they were made whole.

I have news for you, he didn’t just pass through Samaria, he passed “…through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.” There was another city called Galilee.

The Greek word translated Galilee means, “commit”, “remove”, “roll away”, “run down”, “seek occasion” and “trust” amongst others.

Another interpretation of Samaria also means; “to save” and “attend to”. Despite all the terrible meanings of Samaria, there was a way out.

Jesus passed through a combination of Samaria and Galilee to get the lepers saved. The good news is that he will do same for us today. He is committed to our wellbeing. He will save and attend to our pains. He will remove and roll away every form of discomfort and disgrace.

No matter how busy he was, he found an occasion to pass through Samaria. These folks were located between Samaria and Galilee in a village. A village typifies a remote area, yet he located them.

Friend, heaven is locating you in whatever dungeon life has kept you, and you’re coming out today in Jesus name!
