1Kings 17:15 “And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.”
1Kings 17:16 “And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.”
The widow eventually went and did according to the saying of Elijah by the word of the Lord and of course, “she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.”
God is too faithful to fail. What he cannot do does not exist. Nothing intimidates or terrorizes him. If He promise it, he will bring it to pass. This woman received her prophecy and went and did accordingly.
I have noticed that some people actually received their prophecy but modified it and come back complaining that it is not fulfilled. If there is ever any challenge in the fulfilment of a prophecy in your life, the challenge can never be on the part of God, it is always on the part of man.
Psalms 89:34 “My covenant will I not break nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”
Psalms 89:34 “I won’t break my agreement or go back on my word.” (CEV)
God will not change nor alter what he has said. Our Father does not renegade on agreements. Once he says it and you believe it; it is as good as done.
Now hear and never forget this:
2Corinthians 10:6 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled”
2Corinthians 10:6 “Being ready to give punishment to whatever is against his authority, after you have made it clear that you are completely under his control.” (BBE)
The reason that problem which is a disobedience in your life, has refused to obey you is because you have not been doing “according to the saying”, full compliance to obedience forces challenges to their knees.
The reason your bank account has refused to hear you and your prayers is because of a disobedience to financial principle somewhere.
Complete obedience produces complete miracles. Let your obedience punish every disobedience, Selah!
