1Kings 17:14 “For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste neither shall the cruse of oil fail until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.”

…From yesterday…

So, if you tell yourself that your resources cannot run dry based on “Your Prophecy” in 1Kings 17:14, heaven gets committed to you. We suffer in life because there is a prophecy we are yet to believe, declare and appropriate.

The question is this: What is/are your prophecies? Have you searched the scriptures to locate them?

Hear this interesting thing about Jesus, God in the flesh:

Luke 4:16 “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.”

Luke 4:17 “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,”

Luke 4:20 “And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Luke 4:21 “And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

It will interest you to know that even God operated by prophecy! In Luke 4, Jesus picked the Word, opened it, located the place of his prophecy, read it out loud and declared its fulfilment!

That was profound. The question you might want to ask is: Didn’t he know that those things were written about him? The answer is simple. He knew it because he wrote it. He is actually the word but he did that demonstration to let you and I have a template to run our life by.

Friend, I have news for you this morning, make it your custom to always search the Bible for your prophecy day and always declare it.

You don’t just read the word because you’re a Christian, study it to locate the portion that is relevant to you and begin to make declarations!

To be continued…
