IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU-2

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU-2
1 Kings 17:9 “Arise get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”

…From yesterday…

Friend, hear me well; the plan of God is not just to bless us but much more to make us a blessing! Until we come to a place where we become distributors of blessings, we are not truly blessed!

You must know that God has kept the sustenance of many people in your own sustenance. If you refuse to obey God and do your divine assignment, it is not just you that will suffer but the people that God has connected to you, never you forget that.

Beloved, God has us in mind and will go to any length to meet our needs. If he needed to move prophets, bishops, pastor, millionaire, billionaire or even a whole city just to solve the problem of a helpless child of His, He will do it. Hear this:

Luke 4:25 “But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;”

Luke 4:26 “But unto none of them was Elias sent save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.”

God didn’t send Elijah to any other widow but to this particular one. I want to believe that this widow knows God and was prayerful. I came to that conclusion because the Bible says:

1Kings 17:9 “Arise get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”

The word commanded as used here also mean to discuss and give instructions to a messenger. That means she met with God somewhere, probably in the place of prayer and God gave her the instruction to sustain Elijah.

One thing you must know is this, every instruction of God is meant for our good. God is okay by Himself, he doesn’t need man to be God! Hear this:
