THE EAST GATE-2
Nehemiah 3:29 “After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.”

This wind actually run errands for God. This gate is one of massive importance in the Christian journey. It is the gate for the miraculous,
Signs and wonders. The believer’s life is not meant to be ordinary. It is meant to be extraordinary.

Coming to Christ gives us access into the realm of the supernatural. We can do the same thing others do but our results must be different and it is the supernatural that makes this possible for us.

As a born again child of God, we must believe that beyond our efforts and energy, the power of God backs us up and gives us outstanding results. All you need do is release your faith and believe for a miracle every blessed day.

The second thing this gate represents is the coming back or return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 44:1 “Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut”

Ezekiel 44:2 “Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut it shall not be opened and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut”

Ezekiel 44:3 “It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.”

The Bible here talks about the east gate been kept shut for the prince. To keep it shut here is not talking about locking it. It simply means this gate is kept reserved and holy for the Lord.

It is believed that at the appearance of Jesus he will touch down upon mount Olives. Zechariah told us this in his writing:
