Nehemiah 3:1 “Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.”

…From yesterday…

The sheep gate is the gate through which every sinner must enter. Jerusalem sinned, followed idols and were seriously attacked, that was why the city was devastated in the first place. What need to be put in place first in a broken down city or life is the sheep gate.

This is the starting point of restoration. When the problem of the relationship between God and man is settled, it becomes easier to repair every other thing that is broken down.

Getting back to a place of intimacy with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is the first thing that must be settled. Friend, if anything is broken down in your life and destiny, why not start by checking your divine relationship. If it is not in place, it will be difficult to get your life back in order. Hear this:

John 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.”

Jesus clearly gave us the formula here. He said (paraphrased), once a man enters through the sheep gate back to fellowship with the Divine, he will find whatsoever he is looking for!

What you’re looking for is in the presence of the Father but you need access, which is the sheep gate. The problem has never been with the pasture which is what every man is looking for, the problem has always been with access.

No matter the pasture you’re looking for, be it spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, mental or otherwise, they are all available in an inexhaustible quantity before the Father, just make sure you enter.

The second thing the sheep gate represents is our followership and obedience to God. Hear this:

John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
