1Samuel 11:12 “And the people said unto Samuel, Who is he that said Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.”

1Samuel 11:14 “Then said Samuel to the people, Come and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.”

1Samuel 11:15 “And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.”

…From yesterday…

In our focal scripture, the same Saul, that ran away and hid himself when he was to be confirmed king, eventually stood up, led his men into battle and occupied his throne. The same folks that refused to recognize him as king didn’t just install and bow down to him, they threatened to kill anyone who doesn’t!

Friend, there is a king in you and the capacity to occupy your throne but only in latent form. These qualities are docile, waiting for you to activate them. Hear this:

Romans 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

People are waiting for your manifestation. Exercise your muscles; develop your capacity to lead. Take your place and operate in the anointing of your calling.

Saul didn’t go round begging or bribing people to believe in him, he only took up responsibility and stood in his office. Take responsibility for your office and for the people God has brought around you and in no time they will recognize you and give you your place.

God trust you and want you to occupy your throne and do well. He however expect you to activate those gifts which he graciously deposited on your inside. That’s why Paul said:

2Timothy 1:6 “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”

I pray for you today: You will mount your throne and take your place in Jesus name. May the Lord help you to do all that it takes to possess your possessions in Jesus name.
