FIGHT-2
1Samuel 11:11 “And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered so that two of them were not left together.”

…From yesterday…

Friend, the fight we are talking about shows up in different forms and our ability to detect and correctly discern them determines failure or success. This fight could be with a person, a force, the devil himself, a habit or attitude and most times it will not announce itself. It will never tell you that your destiny defining moment is here. That is the reason why many people fail.

When the men of Jabeshgilead were confronted with the offer of Nahash, none of them could sense that it was a destiny determining fight except Saul. Many of them chickened out but not Saul. You will never grow great until you develop the capacity to fight.

Life will not give you what you love and wished for, it will only give you what you fight for. Faith itself is a fight that is why the Bible says:

1Timothy 6:12 ”Fight the good fight of faith…”

I don’t know the junction you presently are in your journey, but I want you to make up your mind to fight. Don’t say you’re gentle and don’t want to fight, it doesn’t work that way; you must respond to the challenges of life with a fighter’s mentality.

Live life like a warrior, develop a conqueror’s mindset. Fight, win and dominate everything life throws at you daily. Confront that problem with the intensity and doggedness of a combatant. Never give up, never surrender and never negotiate with the enemy. Hear this:

Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force”

That doesn’t sound like a gentle man’s language to me, and for your information that statement was made by Jesus!
