YOU WILL HAVE HELP-1
1Samuel 11:9 “And they said unto the messengers that came Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad”

Our focal scripture is one of my favorite Bible passages. The phrase I love the most in it is: “…To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help…”

It was not a suggestion or guess work, it is a certainty. There were no maybes, Saul told them that; for sure they will have help. This is something we must turn into a daily prayer point.

It’s a prayer I think we all should be praying every blessed day. I wake up each day with the consciousness that “I will have help”. I know I can’t be stranded, frustrated, stagnated, confused, depressed and helpless because I am certain that there is sufficient help for each day.

I love it in the Message Translation:

1Samuel 11:9 “Saul instructed the messengers, “Tell this to the folk in Jabesh Gilead: ‘Help is on the way. Expect it by noon tomorrow.'” The messengers set straight off and delivered their message. Elated, the people of Jabesh Gilead (MSG)”

It says, “Help is on the way.” A man that understands this truth can never the helpless or exasperated. This is a revelation that must become your new reality. It may take some time but I know that help must show up for me on daily basis!

The Holy Spirit showed me from that verse that Saul didn’t say; “Don’t worry, I will see what I can do or we will try and help you”. He was definitive; he said, “Tomorrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help.”

There were two key things He showed me from Saul’s statement: First, the word “tomorrow”. This word as used here, was talking about the next day. The question is when will tomorrow end? The answer is simple, there is always a tomorrow after tomorrow!

In order words, tomorrow will never end. It follows therefore that, every new day must bring new help!
