MEN OF SUBSTANCE-2
1Samuel 11:5 “And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said What aileth the people that they weep And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.”
1Samuel 11:6 “And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.”
It doesn’t matter how smart you are, until you meet kings you will struggle. There are people God has delegated for your rising in life and meeting them is key.
As skillful as Bezaleel and Aholiab were, until their names were mentioned before Moses, they didn’t rise to prominence. It takes kings to lift men.
Friend, I must however sound a note of warning at this junction. Many people have met their kings and despised them. This happens because they feel their king must be putting on a crown of gold with a long row of entourage; that is the system of the world.
In the kingdom of God it is not what the king look like on the outside that matters, it is what God has deposited on his inside for you that counts.
In 2kings 5:1-15, “the king” that bailed the powerful Naaman out of leprosy was a small slave girl. When the matter of Naaman came up before her, she proffers a solution without thinking twice. She linked Naaman up with another king.
Kings knows kings! Even if they don’t have what it takes to solve your problem directly, they know who to link you with. When Solomon wanted building the temple and got stuck, he sent to the king of Tyre who linked him up with Hiram.
1Kings 7:13 “And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.”
This Hiram was a skillful man living in a village. It took his case being mentioned before Solomon for him to be elevated.
Friend, my prayer for you is that; from today, your matter will be tabled before kings. Your case will no longer be before mean men.
Your matter will be brought before men that matters in Jesus name! The secret to your rising is with kings, may you meet them in Jesus name.
