Kenneth Hagins of blessed memory had a rock. As a young believer when I was exposed to his books I use to wonder why the only scriptures he seems to quote are Mark 11:23 & 24. In the faith circle, you can easily call it Hagins 11:23 & 24. If you’re not careful, you might think those are the only potent scriptures in the Bible.

But, the truth is that those are the Gibeahs of Hagins! I want you to therefore settle down and meditatively setup your own Gibeah. Don’t let the devil get you into a corner without words to fight back.

Many times when people tell me they’re fasting and praying, what I am most interested in is not the duration but their scriptures and prayer points. Any smart Christian should know that the issue is not rushing to fast and pray but rather to first settle the Rhema to be used.

The Bible says; “Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul”. We should be able to say the same thing about you. You must have a scripture you’re standing on to defend your territory and area of influence.

Everybody knows the Gibeah that belonged to Saul. It is like an enemy coming into your city to fight you. In your city, you know the shortcuts and the terrain so well that you can easily trap the enemy and walk away free.

A typical example was when the devil confronted Jesus in Matthew 4. Jesus took him to his own Gibeah and the devil had to run away from him. Your influence must be heavy in your Gibeah!

I’m not just talking about scriptures that was read to you; I am talking about scriptures that have opened up to you in the place of musing. You must know the word of God for every compartment of your life. I’ve met people praying about finances who does not know a single scripture on wealth.
