TAKE YOUR BED-2
Mark 2:11 “I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Mark 2:12 “And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.”
Friend, it is time for you to arise and make a mockery of what has been mocking you. It is high time you pick up your own strength and step into your purpose.
It is time for you to also become a man that others run to for help. Set up businesses, empower others. Sponsor the kingdom and be a solution provider. Do you remember the mad man of Gadara?
Mark 5:4 “Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.”
Mark 5:20 “And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.”
This man was probably suffering from Schizophrenia, he had a mental issue. People started rendering help to him by binding him with fetters and chains. In order words, they were carrying him. When he finally met with Jesus, the madness disappeared.
Rather than stop there, wallowing in self-pity, he stepped out and started preaching the gospel in the whole region to the same people that were helping to bind him. He started carrying the same people that were carrying him.
Friend, most times when a man becomes afflicted and grounded by the devil, it is because there is something great in his future. The great Apostle of faith, Kenneth Hagins was badly grounded by the enemy but immediately Jesus healed him, he started teaching the world faith.
The world can never recover from the effects of his teachings.
Another way of saying take up your bed is this; become responsible! Be in charge and take control.
Don’t rise from your bed and still be looking around for help, take the bull by the horn and start carrying what has been carrying you.
