Mark 2:5 “When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

…From yesterday…

It doesn’t matter how active you are physically, as long as you’re grounded in the spirit, it’s just a matter of time before it shows in the physical and worse of all, you’re on an express road to Hell.

So, what do you need to do? Just receive the forgiveness of Christ! Can you just say this after me?

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life today. I accept You as my Lord and personal Savior. Thank you Jesus for forgiving and saving me, Amen.

That settled, I want you to also see that this story teaches us the power of forgiveness. It shows that forgiveness can heal and make whole. It is not just about receiving forgiveness from God but also forgiving one another.

Our world is in a mess today because unforgiveness has become the order of the day. Nations, kingdoms and even families are at each other’s throats, all because someone has been wronged and will simply not let go.

Some people’s heart are actually prisons where they have locked up countless number of people.

Friend, could it be that those areas of your life where you’re experiencing palsy or paralysis are linked to unforgiveness somewhere? Someone said, “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison while expecting the other person to die”.

The people you’re locking up in your heart might not even know it so be careful not to be the one that is actually in prison! You must be ready to let go and forgive just like our heavenly father does.

Colossians 3:13 “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

One of our virtues as believers is the power to also forgive, never forget that!
