CREATIVITY-1
Mark 2:3 “And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.”

Mark 2:4 “And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.”

I love these four friends of the sick man. They have so much to teach us. When they got to the house and discovered that the “door blockers” were firmly in place and refused to grant them passage, they did something unusual. They climbed up and removed the roof, what do we call that?

The number four in Bible Numerology is said to be the number of creation or creativity and stability, because the fourth day of creation represents the completion of the material universe. The sun, the moon and the stars were created on the fourth day.

There are four elements in the universe and those are the earth, the air, the fire and the water. There are also four directions on the earth, North, South, East and West. We also have four seasons in the year; winter, spring, summer and autumn. All these came to being on the fourth day of creation. (Genesis 1:14-19).

When the friends of the paralyzed man got stuck, they switched on their creative nature. Their ingenuity came to the fore. In other words the “four” of them represents creativity! The healing of the paralytic man was done on the platform of creativity.

The fourth day creative order was invoked! The sick man was creatively brought to Jesus. When the door was blocked, creativity made a way through the roof.

No barricade can stop a creative mind. God didn’t create us like robots, he made us just exactly like himself, so if He created the heaven and the earth, we can create our own world as well.

The same creative nature of God resides right within us. When you look at the design of our world you’ll agree with me that it took great creativity to put everything together.
