DESTROYING THE SOURCE-6
Joshua 3:16 “That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.”

…From yesterday…

Acts 16:18 “And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.”

This young girl didn’t do anything wrong as it were but Paul picked the problem in the spirit. He knew that she was prophesying by a negative spirit.

Someone once said that, if it is in some modern day churches, that possessed girl would have been made the head of the prayer squad of that local assembly. Very accurate with the prophecy and word of knowledge so to say but alas with a demonic spirit.

Sensibility can’t pick that, only sensitivity can. Sensitivity is very key in spiritual warfare and conquest. It helps you to pick things in the spirit and know the root of every issue. Don’t run the Christian race on guess work always get to the root.

In our focal scripture, we saw that the flow of water from above and the ones that came down towards the salt sea, failed and were cut off. Waters in scripture also represents spirits. In order words the spirits behind the flow of the Jordan in their lives were stopped in order to stop Jordan!

In dealing with issues of life, we need to know the spirit or spirits we are dealing with per time. Silencing and casting them out brings quick relieve. Challenges are fueled by spirits and they must be cut off. The onus is on us to be sensitive in the place of prayer.

I pray for you today, “God will go to the source of that problem and stop it. He will destroy the challenges confronting you from the root. An end has come to your problems in Jesus name!”
