GOD’S TIMING-2
GOD’S TIMING-2
Joshua 3:15 “And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)”
…From yesterday…
Divine timing is that heaven’s designated time for the birth of a miracle. It is that season or period when you receive divine instruction and go ahead from God to act.
In the journey of life, time is of essence. The laws of God are operational at the right time and season. Everything you can think of in life runs smoothly and without stress within their time frame. When you decide to act according to your own time table, you end up with adulterated things.
King David is a man I admired and one of the reasons is that he fought sixty six battles and lost none. As I study his many triumphs, one thing I kept seeing is his accuracy with divine timing. He never fought a battle outside God’s timing.
Smart men understands this phenomenon and will never move unless God said so. This is one of the secrets of giants. Look at this account:
2Samuel 5:24 “And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.”
On this occasion God told him specifically that until he hears a sound on the tops of the mulberry trees, he must not move. We saw clearly from here that God will not move until the appointed time. God showed David here that once it is the appointed time, he will go ahead of him and smite his enemies.
Question: What do you think would have happened if David moved before he heard the sound on top of the mulberry trees? Your guess is as good as mine, he would have been smitten and taken to the cleaners by the Philistines!
That clearly shows us why we lose so many battles in life and destiny! Hear this:
